“Por una segunda y definitiva independencia” [“For a second and definitive independence”]

Abstract

"El presente trabajo busca analizar la dinámica de las organizaciones sociales colombianas que, desde el mes de abril de 2012, se organizaron en el movimiento social y político Marcha Patriótica (Lozano Guillén, 2014), como acción colectiva (Melucci, 2001; Gohn, 2007; Revilla Blanco, 2010). Indaga por qué esas organizaciones sociales se articularon a partir de la consigna “por una segunda y definitiva independencia” e intenta entender que elementos identitarios y que clivajes les permitió relacionarse, confluir y estructurar ese proceso político. Para esto, se propone desarrollar los siguientes momentos: a) se realiza brevemente una revisión de los conceptos de acción colectiva y movimientos sociales; b) se describe el contexto histórico-político colombiano y su lugar en América Latina; c) se caracteriza los distintos sectores sociales que a partir de sus organizaciones integran la Marcha Patriótica; y d) se analiza los métodos que se establecieron para la estructuración y la construcción de la plataforma política de la Marcha Patriótica. De esta forma se espera entender la manera como se ha ido construyendo la interacción social y la acción política de este nuevo movimiento colombiano" ["This study aims to analyze the dynamics of Colombian social organizations which, from the month of April 2012, was organized by the social and political movement Patriotic March (Lozano Guillén, 2014) in the form of collective action (Melucci, 2001; Gohn, 2007; Revilla Blanco, 2010). The study asks why these social organizations were articulated from the slogan “for the second and definitive independence”, trying to understand the identity elements and cleavages that allowed them to relate, collide and structuring this political process. For this, it is proposed to develop the following stages: a) a review of the concepts of collective action and social movements; b) description of the Colombian historical and political context and its place in Latin America; c) characterization of the different social sectors that from their organizations integrate the Patriotic March; d) analysis of the methods specified for the structuring and building the political platform of the Patriotic March.
