Educar com afeto [Educating with affection]

Abstract

"O presente artigo tem por objetivo apresentar um estudo reflexivodescritivo entre a pedagogia do afeto de Wallon e a do Cuidado de Boff, demonstrando o quanto é relevante à cultivação da emoção como um ato de amor ao próximo. Pois, o afeto é a essência para o bem-estar entre os indivíduos e nas relações com todos os seres. É uma virtude que propicia a harmonia à vida orgânica e psíquica do ser humano e sua ligação com a natureza. O Cuidado é o novo ethos, nos trabalhos de Boff, a condição da essência humana, o que acalenta as relações necessárias à vida. O amor é a emoção fundamental com o cuidado ao próximo. Nesta perspectiva, coube uma abordagem qualitativa, empregando-se uma base teórica fundamentada em Wallon, Boff e outros. Portanto, constatou-se que a pedagogia do Afeto e a do Cuidado estão inter-relacionadas, mesmo em direções “contrárias”, isto é, uma direcionada para a Educação e a outra para a Religião, ambas têm o afeto nas relações como fundamento de cuidado que move e motiva as pessoas para a ação, como uma forma de cultivação de amor ao próximo. Enfim, Wallon e Boff fundamentaram a propagação do sentimento do afeto e a dimensão do Cuidado como um ato de amor ao Ser Humano e aos demais seres" ["This article aims to present a reflective-descriptive study between pedagogy of affection and the Boff’s concept of Care, demonstrating how these elements are relevant to the cultivation of emotion as an act of love to neighbor. Affection is the essence for the welfare of individuals and relationships with all beings. It is a virtue that fosters harmony to organic and psychic life of human beings and their connection with nature. Care is the new ethos in Boff’s work, it is the essence of human condition, which nurtures relationships necessaries for life. Love is the fundamental emotion to care for others. In this perspective, we used a qualitative approach, using a theoretical basis based on Wallon, Boff and others. Therefore, it was found that the pedagogy of Affection and the Care are connected, even if they are in “contrary” directions ie, one directed to the Education and the other to Religion, both have the affection in relationships as the foundation of care which moves and motivates people to action, as a way of cultivating love to neighbor. Anyway, Wallom and Boff justified the spread of the felling of affection and the dimension of care as an act of love for the human being and other beings"]
