Abstract
This article discusses the Qur’anic perspective on moral education. The issue of akhlâq plays an important topic in Islamic education, because it is the dominant aims of Islamic education in the view of Muslim thinkers. To distinguish the Islamic system education from the modern Western system is important for it attaches to faith and piety as one of its fundamental aims. The West fails to indicate how in the absence of a set of moral value (akhlâq), either of those aims can be realized or not. This article is aimed at exploring some aims of akhlâq education in the view of al-Qur’an. This analysis will embody the al-Qur’an as the guidance of knowledges. In the view of al-Qur’an, there are three aims of akhlak education, namely: to produce the love sense among human beings, to produce happiness in the worldly life and hereafter, and the last to produce thanksgiving (syukur) sense to Allah. These three aims should be implemented at the school from the Kindergarten to the University level.

Export search results
