"Este trabalho objetiva fazer uma análise do formato e atuação midiática do programa evangélico Show da Vida, que é transmitido todas as noites, às 21h10m, na rede de televisão Bandeirantes. E a partir disso, analisar criticamente o discurso e o conteúdo predominantes. Nessa análise, o enfoque dado será a relação entre fé e sofrimento. Como se dá a questão dos problemas, dificuldades e dores que permanecem insolúveis diante do poder da fé? Qual o posicionamento teológico assumido pelo programa frente aos dilemas da vida que não se dissipam por meio da fé, frente às perguntas e questionamentos da vida, para os quais a fé, aparentemente, não apresenta respostas?"
