Abstract
This article is the result of some reflections about the field media and religion. The main objective in this area thematizing, little explored, is contribute to new perspectives and questions relating to the performance of Catholicism, Protestantism, Pentecostalism and neo-Pentecostalism in systems telecommunications, especially in terms of radio and television. I note that in no time will use a theological analysis or conclusions about programs religious, by virtue of the fact that, to understand these past and present religious phenomena of social communication, we must, first of all, briefly know the historical background and development of these groups, as well as the logic logical market they created and manifested in Brazilian society"]
