Abstract
"Luke has been termed the Gospel of the Spirit. This is seen in how he highlights the place of the Spirit in the life and ministry of Jesus in the Gospel and in the early church as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles. The authorship of both books has been unanimously attributed to Luke and many times treated as one two-volume work. Luke 4:14-30 is the key passage in the Gospel with regard to the ministry of Jesus. In the Acts of the Apostles (also dubbed the 'Acts of the Holy Spirit') the power of the Spirit is seen through the activities of the early church especially in preaching and in the working of miracles."
