Abstract
"During the course of the Tell Hesban survey, Robert Ibach discovered "fragmentary inscriptions" on the south-southwest base of Tell el-'Umeiri.' An on-site examination of this discovery has led me to conclude that these fragments form one inscription composed of several words.' This article contains a first attempt at deciphering the Tell el-"Umeiri inscription"
