AbstractWichita State is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC-NCA). The University’s last review was during the 2006-07 academic year and scheduled to be reviewed again in 2016-17.
Wichita State University is preparing to participate in a new model of continued accreditation being implemented by HLC-NCA. The model, called Open Pathway, seeks to offer greater value to institutions and greater credibility to the public in its quality assurance.
The WSU Assurance Argument was submitted to the Higher Learning Commission on September 12, 2016. It includes a 125-page self-study narrative and supportive documents and data files that can be accessed via links inside the report and/or reviewed separately (see Evidence Folder 1-5 of the 2016 Wichita State University Accreditation collection.)
