Abstract
This paper attempt to explore about polygamy in perspective of Islamic jurisprudence and national law in some Muslim countries. In some Muslim countries as Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Somalia, they have different law of polygamy. In addition, the author assumes that in this era, the practice of polygamy is very difficult to be applied with some considerations such as standing alone of the wife, security, and others.
