AbstractEstuary News is published quarterly by the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, a private, nonprofit organization established in 1996. The Partnership leads collaborative and creative efforts to protect and enhance the Delaware Estuary and its tributaries for current and future generations. It is the home of the Delaware Estuary Program (DELEP), one of 28 national estuary programs. This Fall 2008 newletter's articles included: Countdown to Summit Begins, River to Sea Changes, From Corporations to Communities to Conservation, Combating Tidal Marsh Erosion with "Living Shorelines," Scientists Study Bay Bottom to Better Understand Estuary, Sheer Mussel: Can Shellfish be Saviors of Watersheds, Oyster Project in Limbo, Despite Success, and PDE Selected for Climate-change Pilot Study
