AbstractBullying is a phenomenon which occurs in the school context, despite of its little visibility due to different factors that conceal it. Particularly, it affects children and teenagers who suffer the consequences resulting from constant aggressive processes. The goal of this research is to systematize the scientific production on bullying, laying emphasis on Brazilian researches related to the school context. This research involved the analysis of ten papers available in SciELO database, using the bibliographic and comparative analysis methodologies and both the quantitative and qualitative approaches. The result show that the scientific journals that publish the most papers linking bullying and school context are related to the area of Psychology; the publications are recent and have increased over the past three years; the author‟s university of origin and the topics are diverse and the concept of bullying used come from different authorships, despite of the fact that prevails just one author as the main source. The comparative analysis of those concepts reveals the aggressive and continuous character of a phenomenon which leads to, among other consequences, isolation and reduction of school performance.
