Google Drive sharing feature Technology Initiatives: Users of the Fitchburg State University computer systems are subject to all applicable federal, state, and international computer laws. Questions regarding regulations may be directed to the office of Information Tec~ology Systems. Candidates will utilize technology as: • • a research tool a communication method (email, data storage and collaboration, online websites) an enhancement tool for the design of lessons and curriculum units COURSE REQUIREMENTS: Please also refer to Part VIII. UNIVERSITY AND EDUCATION UNIT POLICIES. A. Attendance at all class sessions. Attendance to in person classes is expected and mandatory. If absent due to an emergency situation, candidates must take the initiative to contact the instructor to obtain class materials and make-up work for the session. Remote participation via Skype and or Face Time for portions of the class time may be approved by class instructors for participants when necessary B. Active participation. Bring a positive disposition as a continual learner, listen effectively and respectfully, and participate actively in class discussions and during cooperative group C. Readings & Curriculum Unit Preparation. Complete assigned readings actively and preparation of Curriculum/lesson components before class is imperative. D. Assignments. All course assignments are underpinned by adult learning ·theory and are specifically focused on research based cultural informants to learning and pedagogy. All candidates are responsible for meeting required deadlines on projects and assignments; . their ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion demonstrates professional maturity and an ability to organize and manage time. Online assignments must be completed prior to the last day of class, unless other arrangements have been made with the instructor PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE. If any assignment is not completed by the end of the term, students will lose the appropriate number of points as assigned to the project, absent exigent circumstances. All assignments will be completed and turned in using Blackboard or Google Drive.
