Abstract
In this study, we looked at published requirements for residency education in ethics, socioeconomics, and law, and at the way these requirements are interpreted by Residency Review Committees (RRC) and tested by medical specialty boards. Our goal was to determine whether the individuals responsible for guiding residency education on a national level understood, valued, and conducted evaluations of the educational objectives in these areas.Date
