Abstract
The book discusses several legal and ethical issues related to physicians and medical practice with a special focus on the development of the medical profession in Lebanon. It consists of eight chapters: medicine in the past; foundations of medical liability; determination of physicians? liability and its hoped-for development; pillars of physicians? liability; classification of liability; physicians? right to defend their financial interests against their patients; protection against judicial prosecution of physicians; and physicians? liability in various countries.Date
