Bioetika a eutanázie

Abstract

Bakalářská práce je věnována tématu bioetika a eutanázie. V jejím obsahu se zabývám problematikou umírání a smrti, kterým mohou předcházet mimo jiné také úkony v podobě eutanázie či asistované sebevraždy. Další oblastí je potom bioetika, její vymezení a také vztah k eutanázii. Problematika eutanázie, která je zařazována mezi bioetická témata, je nedílnou součástí této práce, a to nejen v podobě jejího vymezení. Zabývám se i argumenty zastánců a odpůrců eutanázie a přiblížením některých modelů v zemích, kde byla legalizována, či je danou zemí v určité podobě akceptována.

The topic of the bachelor thesis is bioethics and euthanasia. I present and discuss the dilemma of dying and death that can be preceded, among other things, by procedures of euthanasia or physician-assisted suicide. Another area of focus is bioethics, its definition and relation to euthanasia. The dilemma of euthanasia, which is classified as a bioethical topic, is an integral part of this thesis, importantly, not only in regard to its definition. I take into account arguments of both, the supporters and opponents of euthanasia, and I present examples of certain scenarios in those countries where euthanasia has been legalized or has been accepted in certain form.
