An equal dignity of each person and an equal dignity of each nation- that is a sound summary of the John Paul II personalism. Personalism as a system is a way of perceiving any reality from the fact of a person, both the reality of the Creator (Divine Persons) and the reality of creation (human persons, persons of angels). lt is the Person that is at the heart of personalistic doctrine along with the belief that epistemological, metaphysical , and ethical (moral) truth emerges from the highest mystery of person, which is the key to reality. Hence as a scientific, philosophical, and theological domain, personalism perceives the highest dignity in persons, Divine or human. The dignity of nation, on the other hand comes mainly from the dignity of family, which is a natural communion of persons (communio personarum).UKSW w Warszawie
