Abstract
Reading and Writing - Creative, Clinical and Poetic Processes at Work. During the analytical cure, each analysand brings their own text of words to the psychoanalyst who reads them. The passage from analysand to ‘author’ is an integral part of the unique work which opens up the path towards otherness. The singularity of each cure surely then comes from those feelings most intimate to us – loss and abandonment beyond which humanity only becomes essentially ours within the ethical framework of the analytical encounter.
