Abstract
In line with Balthasar’s Theodramatik, the A. analyses the philosophico-theological argument of Nicolas de Cues’ universale concretum, in order to confirm the universal and ‘singularly concrete’ truth of salvation brought about by Christ. He draws our attention on the incarnation and its redeeming value (admirabile commercium), on the descent into hell (the death pro nobis) and on substitution considered as definite act of redemption. This redeeming solidarity is neither ideological (i.e. political) nor only sociological (i.e. ethical), but ontological (i.e. metaphysical) ; it brings together both the universal and each individual’s concrete singularity.
