Humanization of economics is now being carried out purposefully in developed countries by institutionalising business/professional ethics into the activities of companies/organisations. The aim of the article is to introduce the ethical dimensions of economic humanization and long-term economic development, to draw attention to the ethical aspects of institutionalisation in companies that have yet to be analysed in Lithuania but which are extremely important, and to disclose the multi-layered nature of the new concepts of integral social humanitarian sciences by presenting the need for a deep understanding thereof as an opportunity to perceive the challenges of integration to the Lithuanian economy that are not yet well known. As the Lithuanian economy integrates into the European Union (EU), the lack of necessary knowledge, insufficient use of the presented business ethics models, and "turning a blind eye" to recommendations create additional risk factors. Since in recent years, one of the tools for turning humanization of economics - ethical standards into an economic component has become the activity of various consumer organisations which signify the initiatives of an ethically advanced society, by promoting a style of consumption that expresses a commitment to ecological, social and moral goals, a mature civil society insistently becomes closer to manufacturing and trade companies, which are already forced in practice to move to value - socially integrated - management, i.e. reorientation towards a socially responsible - humane - economy. Thus, as Lithuania integrates into the EU, the humanization of economics becomes a factor, the perception and implementation of which is an effective need and condition of Lithuanian economic integration into the European Union.Date
