The article analyses aspects of modern economics humanization that become apparent in the concept of sustainable development. New social ethical paradigms are incorporated today into the modern strategies of economy. Therefore, humanistic attitudes are inherent to strategies of sustainable development and appropriate economic, ecological and social parameters of progress are in equilibrium and harmony. It is true with regard to the developed countries where such modern concepts become reality. In this paper the theoretical model and its practical application in developed countries are compared with the project "The strategy of sustainable development of Lithuanian economy". The paradigm of economic relations humanization is intrinsic to the concepts of modern management, "new economics" while in Lithuania these concepts are not grasped and interpreted adequately. That is why in building strategies of social development in Lithuania practical application of integrated modern human sciences including business ethics is insufficient. The project under discussion is obviously inadequate and does not correspond to economic development tendencies of XXI century. Not only the majority of Lithuanian economists but also the very backbone of the project demonstrates a lack of proper understanding of these tendencies, which is especially obvious in the parts related to social development. As usual humanization aspects are left out of the margins of economy and the role of economy in developing social human elements of social life is limited just by putting up money for social cultural needs of the society. Such a backward approach corresponds neither to realities in well-developed countries, nor the new theoretical concepts.Meanwhile under the conditions of modem Lithuania it is possible to model and construct rational and optimal status of comprehensively sustainable society applying knowledge generated by innovative paradigm. Developing human resources and social capital require not only assurance of information, but should be provided with constructive behavior technologies mastered through the means of procedural ethics. The latter are less expensive, however their effects exceed the advantages gained by the former ones both in organizational management and in creation social welfare. Thus humanization of economics through the development and application ethical infrastructure to the practice of enterprises under the conditions of modem Lithuania is strategically important for its sustainable economic and social development. Some of the disregarded aspects are tackled in the paper. The article covers the aspects of business ethics institutionalization in companies and society and relates them to the concept of sustainable development, stakeholder, "3-е", "triple bottom line" that have modified modern management strategies and formed attributes of "new economics".
