Die Lernortsituation der Öffentlichen Bibliotheken Kopenhagen

Abstract

Diese Informationssammlung fasst den derzeitigen Stand der Öffentlichen Bibliotheken der Hauptstadt Dänemarks unter dem Gesichtspunkt ihrer Eignung als Lernorte für verschiedenste Zielgruppen. Zu Eingang wird auf die Besonderheiten des dänischen Bibliothekswesens eigegangen, sowie auf die Allgemeinsituation der Öffentlichen Bibliotheken Kopenhagens. Alle 21 relevanten Teilstellen werden ihrer Nutzerschaft, ihrer Ausstattung und ihres Lernangebots nach analysiert, bewertet und geographisch visualisiert. Der Faktor der räumlichen Entfernung zueinander, sowie zu Bibliotheken anderen Typs, wird gleichwohl bedacht. Als Quellen werden vor allem die persönliche Erfahrung des Autors mit manchen der Bibliotheken, persönliche Korrespondenz und Nutzerkommentare auf Online-Bewertungsportalen, insbesondere „Yelp.com“, herangezogen.

This research consolidation approaches the current situation of the public libraries of Denmark’s capital city in consideration of their suitability as learning environments for various user groups. Initially, the specific characteristics of the Danish library system are illustrated, followed by the general situation of the public libraries of Copenhagen. All 21 relevant branch libraries are analyzed, evaluated and geographically visualized, according to their clientele, their interior design and their services. Likewise, the factor of spatial distance to each other, as well as to libraries of different types, is considered. Major sources are the personal experience of the author with some of the researched institutions, direct correspondence with their personnel and patrons’ commentaries at review-websites, like „Yelp.com“.
