Abstract
Through the integration of Corporate Social responsibility into the company`s mission statement companies should provide a contribution to the sustainable development. The idea of sustainable development should be transferred through a sustainable strategy. This transformation needs suitable managemntinstruments, which fulfill all requirements of sustainability. As managementinstrument the GRI-sustainability report and the sustainability balanced scorecard are demonstrated and analysed if they are qualified for the sustainable management.
