Esse trabalho possui o intento de apresentar uma possibilidade de leitura do romance Lavoura Arcaica, de Raduan Nassar, tendo como base a análise do percurso moral-discursivo-literário das personagens. Por meio do discurso simbólico-mimético dos seres fictícios criados por Raduan, sugerimos a aproximação de suas vozes a concepções filosóficas sobre a moral. Nossa intenção com essa pesquisa reside no fato de mostrar uma possibilidade de leitura do texto nassariano, tendo como escopo teorias literário-filosóficas. Pois, ao partimo-nos para a investigação do discurso literário, sempre atentando para a sua particularidade estilístico-mimética, sugerimos a interpretação da trajetória comportamental das personagens pautando-nos em concepções éticas gregas e nietzscheanas
