Due monumenti un progetto.

Abstract

In the architectural production of these years some projects, for their clarity, are able to assume a value of generality that goes beyond the manufactured product. The theme of these two projects by José Ignacio Linazasoro is not only to give back to life new places full of history and memories, which have lost their raison d'etre, but to rebuild their new identity. The issue is to give them back a role within the urban landscape able to invent another place, but where the sign of time is tangible, alive and not far from the understanding of the community that inhabits it.
 There are many references in the two projects that could be noted, rich both in knowledge and composition with control of the theme, but it is important to remind how on these two occasions, so different one from each other, the Basque architect managed the subject with extreme consistency and mastery and to clarify that the topic, however you want to take, is merely that of the construction of architecture, or construction of places full of meaning and identity.
