Abstract
Scientific editors work from the deepest part of the discipline that we represent. We share challenges that are sometimes hard to socialize with our main clients: the authors and readers. However, in recent years we live in a way, somewhat obsessive with a common concern: the bibliometric impact of our magazines. We have been counting the number of citations, thinking that this is much more than a step that guide librarians in their policies to acquire magazines.Date
