Abstract

From the year 1938 the Royal Academy of Córdoba celebrates the festivity of the Inmaculate Conception. The current essay exhibits from a religious and theological point of view the evolution of what would end up being the mariological dogma from its beginnings until the dogmatic definition carried out by Pope Pius IX on December the 8th, 1854.
Desde el año 1938 la Real Academia de Córdoba celebra la festividad de la Inmaculada Concepción. El presente trabajo expone desde el punto de vista religioso y teológico la evolución de lo que acabaría siendo el dogma mariológico desde sus inicios hasta la declaración dogmática llevada a cabo por el Papa Pío IX el 8 de diciembre de 1854.
