Integración científica bajo la lupa. Prácticas y dinámicas interdisciplinares en la investigación neurocientífica argentinaMauro, Agustín (2023)Contemporary neurosciences are produced by the confluence of multiple disciplines and lines of research. Studying them offers an opportunity to observe how the integration of heterogeneous knowledge takes place. This article aims to characterize the integration of neuroscience knowledge in Argentina, focusing on the practices that scientists use to produce interdisciplinary knowledge, how these practices transform research output, and how they strain institutional and organizational structures. A qualitative study was carried out, based mainly on interviews and documentary and bibliographic analysis, following the methodology established for other studies on interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity. The results present six practices to characterize how scientists integrate elements (information, data, techniques, tools, perspectives, concepts, and theories) from two or more disciplines. The conclusion identifies three interdisciplinary dynamics that underlie the practices and that can function as heuristics for thinking about science policy and the management of interdisciplinarity. It also points out the implications of the work for thinking about processes of knowledge integration in neuroscience.

Corporate social responsibility and marketing: A bibliometric and visualization analysis of the literature between the Years 1994 and 2020Quezado, T.; Cavalcante, W. Q.; Fortes, N.; Ramos, R. F. (MDPI, 2022-03-02)Several studies explored the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on marketing.
However, bibliometric research that organizes this production is scarce. Thus, this study aims to
provide a bibliometric view of marketing-related CSR research, identifying this field’s state-of-the-art
literature. Two thousand and forty-two articles were collected through the Web of Science (WoS)
platform. Data were analyzed using VOSviewer software to map the data graphically. The results
show that: (a) the literature on CSR in the marketing area is growing; (b) five articles alone accounted
for 9940 citations, and there are several prolific authors; (c) the prominent journals identified in
this research published 42.16% of the total; (d) The “Journal of Business Ethics” is the leader in the
number of publications, followed by “Sustainability,” which has shown strong growth in recent
years, and; (e) The US is the leading country, according to the number of articles and citations. The
keyword trending network analysis revealed that CSR is becoming a strategic marketing approach
for companies. This study offers an insight into the state-of-the-art and trends identification in CSR
 and marketing.

Mapping sustainability transitions in contemporary cultureMarat-Mendes, T.; Borges, J. C. (Centro de Investigação Prof. Doutor Joaquim Veríssimo Serrão, 2020-03-31)This paper draws from research conducted at an ongoing project, ‘SPLACH – Spatial Planning for Change’, which aims to inform a sustainability transition of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area urban planning, towards an improved food system, responding to contemporary cultural concerns.
But where does contemporary culture really stand with respect to sustainability? Among many contenders for supplanting postmodernism, we would emphasize hypermodernism, digimodernism, metamodernism and transmodernism, since in many respects, these paradigmatic views are engaged with a sustainability transition.
Here, we assess how history, technology and visual culture are valued in contemporaneity. This is done by intersecting our readings of cultural paradigms with key ideas about sustainability, drawn from the SPLACH literature review. Moreover, we highlight opportunities for urban design to accomodate a change towards sustainable urban environments.
