Pengaruh Penerangan Terhadap Semangat Kerja Karyawan Usaha Konveksi X

Abstract

High morale will improve the performance of the employee, so that the employee will perform the job harder and the work is expected to be completed faster and better. Employee morale can be improved by taking into account the working conditions of the employees to be able to carry out its activities properly. One of the factors that can affect the morale is the lighting of work environment. This research was to see how the effect of lighting toward employee’s morale in convection “X”. Workspace lighting in convection "X" less qualified for employees in the amount of 485.94 lux. Based on this, the modifications done to increase the intensity of light illumination at 500 - 1000 lux, the light intensity changes in order to obtain an average of 485.94 into 633.37 lux. This study was conducted in 7 employees convection with draft one group pretest-posttest design. Data analysis using a Wilcoxon Matched-Pairs Signed-Ranks Test. This research have found that the lighting effect on employee morale convection X, where all 7 subjects experienced an increase in morale after the addition of the treatment given the intensity of the light in the room employee.
