Abstract
El artículo considera las 1ª, 3ª y 6ª definiciones de la Parte I de la Etica de Espinosa (relacionándolas con la teoría general de la definición del autor) como un caso que (a semejanza de otros de «fundamentación», pero especialmente agudo dado el planteamiento ordine geometrico de la obra) muestra los problemas de la coherencia entre un método racional y el presunto fundamento del mismo.
