A natureza como negação da imortalidade da alma no jovem Feuerbach

Abstract

This article aims at clarifying the two-pointed concept of nature as proposed by young Feuerbach in his work Thoughts on Death and Immortality (Gedanken über Tod und Unsterblichkeit): 1. nature as possibility and condition for all existence within space and time, and 2. nature as negation instance of all being. Nature offers young Feuerbach the model for solution of several oppositions, for one finds within it a dialectical process of assertion and negation, singularity and plurality, individual and gender. Thus, man experiments within nature not only positive assertion but also negation of his existence in the form of his ephemerality and death.

O presente artigo visa a explicitar o conceito duplo de natureza do jovem Feuerbach, em sua obra Pensamentos sobre Morte e Imortalidade (Gedanken über Tod und Unsterblichkeit): 1. a natureza como possibilidade e condição de toda existência no espaço e no tempo e 2. a natureza como instância da negação de todo ser. A natureza oferece ao jovem Feuerbach o modelo para a solução de várias oposições, pois nela se manifesta um processo dialético de afirmação e negação, singularidade e pluralidade, indivíduo e gênero. Assim, o homem experimenta na natureza não apenas a afirmação, como também a negação, de sua existência em forma de efemeridade e morte.
