Abstract
‪This paper deals with art education conceived as the development of agentivity and empowerment to create. Following Gilbert Simondon, it assumes that such a development consists in a kind of individuation of the pupils and their artistic practice. This individuation requires three conditions: material, informational and energetic. These conditions are related to the pupils’ resources and dispositions as well as to the educational framework and teaching acts. The conceptual frame developed by Simondon helps to question experience and to emphasise the dynamics of art education.‪
