This page contains the free download of WPtools, the software developed to accompany Workshop Physics. It allows students to use a custom toolbar to analyze data and create mathematical models in Excel spreadsheet format. Versions are available for both Mac and PC systems. Workshop Physics is an activity-based approach to teaching calculus-based introductory physics in which traditional lectures are replaced by student investigation and experimentation. It was developed and class-tested by Priscilla Laws of Dickinson College and coworkers. See Related Materials on this page for a link to the full instructional module on the topic of Oscillations, available at no cost. A link to additional modules for a two-semester Calculus-based course, available for purchase through the publisher, is also found in Related Materials on this page.Type

It capitalizes on the first roadmap and gathers contributions of more than 70 scientists from major French institutions.
