Antiidentitäre Sozialethik

Abstract

Lässt sich in der akademischen Arbeit an einer sozialethischen Theorie, dass diese Theorie auf einem politischen Handlungsfeld orientierend in Richtung von Identitätspolitik wirkt? Mit Aussicht auf die potentiell destruktiven Wirkungen von Identitätspolitik wird diese Frage mit »nein« beantwortet. Daraus wird der Schluss gezogen, dass Sozialethik so betrieben werden sollte, dass sie nicht zur Orientierung von Identitätspolitik genommen werden kann, dass sie – mehr noch – politischen Akteuren identitätspolitische Absichten und Neigungen »ausredet«.Can it be justified in academic work on a social-ethical theory that this theory has an orientation towards identity politics in a political field of action? In view of the potentially destructive effects of identity politics, the answer to this question is "no". The conclusion from this is drawn that social ethics should be pursued in such a way that it cannot be taken as an orientation for identity politics. Instead, it must persuade political actors out of their intentions and inclinations to identity policy.
