Program Pemberdayaan Perempuan Kursus Wanita Karo Gereja Batak Karo Protestan (Kwk-Gbkp) Pada Perempuan Pengungsi Sinabung Kecamatan Payung Kabupaten Karo

Abstract

Kursus Wanita Karo Gereja Batak Karo Protestan (KWK-GBKP) is one place that specified by district government as the evacuation of Sinabung Mountain’s refugees from some villages including Desa Payung. KWK-GBKP has women empowerment programme to Sinabung’s women refugees which includes 5 part, they are: minimum needs (apparel and foodstuffs), health services, skill, psychosocial, and economic. This research is classified as descriptive, and the method used this research is qualitative research methods with data collection techniques using in-depth interviews (depth interview). Interviews were conducted with informants were divided into three of them, namely: key informant BPP Moria Chairman, main informants consists of 3 (three) informants, and additional informants consists of 2 (two) informants. Based on the results prove that the programme of empowerment implemented KWK-GBKP in outline has been running well. Refugees given a staple food and enough additional food, given clothes, get the health services and guaranteed free in Rumah Sakit Umum Kabanjahe and Efarina Etaham Hospital, gain knowledge through activities make skills such as kue kipas, kembang loyang, Karonese food, make a necklace, a bracelet, make hood and tongs hairaccessories, a brooch, and brownies, reduced their ptsd through assistance psikososial held, get entertainment during KWK-GBKP refuge in, helped as well as financial skills through sales, chatering, bazaar, become aron, as well as scholarship Moderamen GBKP.
