Päivystyspotilaan tiedon tarve : voimavaraistumista tukevan ohjauksen sisällön suositus

Abstract

Tämän kehittämisprojekti on käynnistynyt kahden suuren päivystysyksikön yhdistyessä yhteispäivystykseksi Varsinais-Suomen sairaanhoitopiirissä, Ensihoidon ja päivystyksen liikelaitoksessa. Kehittämisprojekti liittyy HoiPro –tulevaisuuden sairaala 2009-2015 kehittämishankkeeseen osana potilasohjaustehtävää.
 Kehittämisprojektin tarkoituksena oli selvittää päivystyspotilaan ohjaus tiedon tarve ja projektin tavoite oli kehittää potilasohjauksen sisältöä potilaslähtöisesti ja voimavaraistumista tukevaksi tekemällä tutkimuksen tulosten pohjalta potilasohjauksen sisällön suositus. Sen empiirinen osa, päivystyspotilaan tiedon tarve tutkimus toteutettiin Sairaala Potilaan tiedon Tarve (SPTT) -mittarilla (©Leino-Kilpi, Salanterä, Hölttä 2003). Tutkimuksessa jaettiin 180 kyselylomaketta yhteispäivystyksessä käyneille potilaille sekä puhelinpalveluun soittaneille.
 Kehittämisprojektin lopputuotoksena oli päivystyspotilaan voimavaraistavan ohjauksen suositus, joka on tehty aiemman tutkimustiedon, tämän projektin tutkimuksellisen osion ja projektiryhmän yhteistyön tuloksena. Tämän lisäksi tuotettiin päivystyspotilaan ohjauksen sisällön muistilista ja kotiutuskortti. Suositusta on tarkoitus käyttää jatkossa kaiken yhteispäivystyksessä annettavan ohjauksen sisällön suosituksena.

This development project has originated from the integration of two large emergency units as one joint emergency unit in the health care district of Varsinais-Suomi, the public utility of Emergency Medical Services. This development project is a part of HoiPro – the hospital of the future 2009-2015 – development project as a part of the mission to improve patient guidance.
 The purpose of this development project at hand is to examine the need of the guidance of a patient in emergency care, and the aim of the project is to develop the content of the guidelines as patient-oriented and an empowering way by conducting a guideline of the content with the results of this research.
 The empiric part of this thesis, the need of the guidance of a patient in emergency care research was executed with the SPTT-indicator (©Leino-Kilpi, Salanterä, Hölttä 2003). there were 180 question forms put out to all the patients in the joint emergency unit as well as the people who called to the telephone service.
 As the result of this development project has been introduced the guidelines of empowering directions for a patient education in emergency care, that is been completed based on the previous research information, the empiric part of this project and as a result of the co-operation of the project team. In the future these guidelines are meant to be used as a recommendation of the content of the guidance for a patient in emergency care in any unit in the joint emergency facility.
