Currently, childhood obesity is becoming one of the most important health problems of the world. The number of children who suffer from it has increased exponentially over the years, causing serious health problems in adulthood as: heart disease, insulin resistance... Given this problem, the present project is focused on the development of a mobile application which helps keeping track of the good healthy habits of the child with the help of the recommendations provided by the medical personnel. This application allows direct telematics communication between the doctor and the patient, in order to monitor and control child obesity. The legal guardians who use the application will be able to insert values of feeding and physical activities. This way, the paediatricians and the nurses will have a tool to keep track of the evolution of the child. The medical personnel will have the opportunity of maintaining this track through a web platform by consulting the values added in the application by each of their patients and the creation of surveys that could be answered from the mobile device. Telematics interaction between doctor and patient, allows to study the child healthy habits easily and support the health personnel, reducing the number of visits in each of one of their centres.Date
