Abstract
The purpose of this text is to question and discuss the notion of risk as it applies to the child in order to raise the ethical questions that are too often neglected but nonetheless inherent to these discussions. The authors mainly analyse those discussions that stem from the fields of the psychology, the demography, and the sociology of the family concerning the impact felt, through disunity of the family, by the children. This, in order to demonstrate the extreme polysemy of the notion of risk, and to question the stigmatizing effects of the abusive recourse to this notion through public intervention.
