Abstract
[Resumo] A Educação Ambiental (EA) constitui um dos recursos para enfrentarmos a problemática socioambiental, sendo a escola é um local privilegiado para a realização de ações, reflexões e mudanças de posturas individuais e coletivas. Portanto, torna-se imprescindível o conhecimento e a motivação dos professores para que tais ações ocorram. Este estudo objetivou desenvolver e avaliar um curso de extensão em EA com a utilização de Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TIC´s). Esta pesquisa foi conduzida pela metodologia da pesquisa-ação com abordagem quali-quantitativa. Os conteúdos trabalhados foram EA e ciências ambientais com ênfase em Recursos Hídricos. A formação pautou-se na sensibilização dos professores para um efetivo trabalho da EA em sua prática pedagógica. A utilização do Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem (AVA) facilitou a disponibilização de vídeos, textos e outros materiais, bem como a participação em fóruns de discussão, atividades de estudo (incluindo atividades realizadas com seus alunos) e interação com a pesquisadora. Ao final do curso os professores apresentaram suas experiências em um encontro presencial. A partir desta pesquisa foi possível a realização de outras propostas de atividades utilizando AVA e TIC’s, visando contribuir para a formação continuada de professores e potencializar projetos de EA no ambiente escolar.
[Abstract] The Environmental Education (EE) is a resource to face the social and environmental problems, and the school is a prime location for performing actions, reflections and changes in individual and collective attitudes. Therefore, it is essenctial to the knowledge and motivation of teachers for such action to occur. This study aimed to develop and evaluate an extension course in environmental education with the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). This research was performed through both quantitative and qualitative approaches, using the methodological principles of action research. The contents were worked EA and environmental sciences with an emphasis on water resources. The formation was marked in the awareness of teachers for effective work of the EA in their practice. The use of Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) facilitated the release of videos, texts and other materials, as well as participation in discussion forums, study activities (including activities with their students) and interaction with the researcher. The course was finished with participant teachers presented their experiences in a face meeting. From this research, it was possible to carry out other activities proposals using AVA and ICT in order to contribute to the continuing education of teachers and enhance environmental education projects in the school environment.
