Abstract
Anne Cleary and Maura Dowling examine the literature that focuses on the principal concepts of recovery in mental health and explore the importance of interpersonal skills, collaborative working and sharing knowledge This literature review aims to untangle the complex concept of recovery in mental health. Recovery is irreducible to a simple construct, and, while its competencies are now part of everyday language in mental health, there are instances where they are not implemented in practice (Ridgway 2001).Date
