    Behind the phenomenon of corruption cases that are still rampant in the Indonesian government, there is an agency that has gained public trust and appreciation, namely the Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK). The role and performance of the Corruption Eradication Commission is considered the most successful corruption eradication agency in Indonesia. This study aims to explore and at the same time identify the prophetic social value of Islam in the KPK code of ethics. This qualitative research is in the form of a literature review. This research approach uses a normative-philosophical approach. The primary data source of this research is the code of ethics of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) of the Republic of Indonesia. While the secondary data sources are various scientific researches that are relevant to the main object of the discussion. The analytical theory used is the Ilmu Sosial Profetik paradigm (ISP) which was initiated by Kuntowijoyo. The results of this study conclude the existence of prophetic Islamic social values ​​contained in various values ​​of the KPK code of ethics. First, the value of transcendence (iman) in the code of ethics of religiosity. The existence of the value of religiosity can be said to be a manifestation of the value of Islamic transcendence which makes religious teachings as signs in the activities of social life in the performance of KPK members. Second, the value of humanization in the code of ethics of integrity and professionalism.the values ​​of integrity and professionalism are humanization values ​​that serve as ethical guidelines for KPK members in realizing truth values ​​(amar makruf) in their various duties and activities. Third, the value of liberation (nahi munkar) in the code of ethics for justice and leadership. The KPK code of ethics in the form of justice and leadership values ​​is a fundamental value for KPK members in realizing the orientation of the value of liberation from the political system that has a negative impact on people's lives.

    Kode etik psikologi adalah seperangkat nilai-nilai untuk ditaati dan dijalankan dengan sebaik-baiknya dalam melaksanakan kegiatan sebagai psikolog dan ilmuwan psikologi di Indonesia. Islam memandang nama sebagai suatu yang sangat penting. Nama identik dengan terminology dan terminolog equvalen dengan konsep, sedangkan konsep produk penting dari akal budi manusia. Dengan demikian menambahkan nama “islami” dibelakang kata kode etik psikologi berarti bahwa “kode etik psikologi islam” mempunyai dasar nilai yang berbeda dengan kode etik psikologi pada umumnya. Pendekatan akhlak dalam islam amat menekankan kepada penanaman aqidah atau rohani. Ini karana, aqidah merupakan teras Islam yang utama. Kepentingan aqidah dalam Islam dapat dilihat pada ayat-ayat al-Quran dan Hadist yang banyak mengaitkan pembentukan akhlak dengan aqidah atau iman. Dalam sejarah pemikiran para Ulama dalam pendidikan Islam, banyak ditemukan khazanah mutiara pemikiran dalam ranah kode etik pendidik. Dimana kode etik ini di rumuskan oleh para Ulama pemikir pendidikan Islam untuk dijadikan pegangan bagi pendidik pada waktu itu. Diharapkan ketika pendidik menerapkan norma-norma tersebut akan dapat menjalankan profesinya dengan baik. Sehingga marwah pendidik akan tetap bisa terjaga dalam masyarakat, karena mereka memegang kode etik pendidik dalam perspektif Islam. Ada hal menarik terkait dengan Kode Etik Pendidik dalam Islam. Karena dia dapat dijadikan sebagai pegangan norma yang harus dipatuhi oleh setiap pendidik. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa posisi pendidik begitu sangat penting sehingga ulama memberikan batasan kode etik lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research).

    Devotion to both parents is obligatory for every child. The obligation of the child to be filial to both parents can be applied and learned through the Koran. Koran is prioritized in Islamic educational institutions, namely Islamic boarding schools. Pondok pesantren is an educational institution that prioritizes moral education, especially morals for both parents, referring to kitan ta'lim muta'allim. The objectives of this study were (1) To determine the ethics of filial piety to both parents in the book Ta'lim Muta'allim (2) To determine the implementation of the book Ta'lim Muta'allim in boarding school Manba'ul Qur'an and Bustanul Muta'allimin. To achieve this goal, the researcher used field research, namely the researcher conducted direct research on the object under study, namely the management and caregivers of the Bustanul Mua'allimin and Manba'ul Qur'an Islamic Boarding Schools and collected data found in the field. The data collection used by interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this research are as follows: (1) Ethics of filial piety to parents are as follows: Do not cross in front of him, do not occupy his seat, do not start a conversation except with his permission, do not talk a lot next to him, do not ask something boring, do not knock door but be patient until he comes out, seeks the pleasure of the teacher and avoids his anger, upholds his orders as long as he does not violate religious teachings, respects and cherishes his children and anyone associated with him. 2). The implementation of filial ethics for both parents at the boarding school: Tahlil and pilgrimage to the grave, reciting the muta'allimin ta'lim book, giving good examples, praying for parents, respecting parents, appreciating parental gifts, salim/ kissing hands when traveling, helping homework, using polite language, not interrupting when advised

  • Searching for an ethical Muslim self in conversation with Islamic studies scholarship in South Africa and beyond

    This article presents an account of my search for ‘ethical agency’ in interaction with South African-based Islamic Studies scholarship. Based on auto-ethnographic approaches, I reflect on the evolution of my ethical self in a productive engagement with selected sets of Islamic scholarly readings that formed a critical part of such  formation. The article attempts to show how one person worked out his subjective responsiveness to unfolding events in the contingent fields of politics, popular culture and social justice-orientated activism. Readings in the history of my religious community, Islamic discourse and contemporary politics are pertinent to the subject’s unfolding ethical stances. The article illustrates how a reflexive engagement with these readings is central to an individual’s ethical discourses and subjectivity. It emphasises “the close relationships between reasoning, freedom, choice, power relations, and the creative influence of tradition in any example of ethical discourse and [self-]formation”.1 The article discusses three lines of ethical reading that represent how I have been processing my readings in the Islamic Studies discipline with respect to my ethical commitments. These commitments were developed in the context of opposition to apartheid and the socio-political exigencies of the democratic period after 1994. I end by reflecting on the shifting contingent terrain of the contemporary period in which the self establishes its ethical Muslim agency.
  • Contemporary Advertising in Islamic Perspective

    This paper purposes to examine the principles and implementation of contemporary advertising in an Islamic perspective. The research employs the method of literature study, by examining the perspective of Islamic advertising from various research literatures, the opinions of scholars and the Qur'an and Hadith. Based on literature review, the development of advertising is still trapped in the practice of materialistic advertising that overrides the ethics of Islamic communication. For this reason, this study formulates six advertising principles referring to the Qur'an and Hadith as well as the opinions of scholars, namely the principle of monotheism, the principle of honesty, the principle of justice, the principle of trust, the principle of education and the principle of Istiqomah/consistent. This study can be developed by referring to technological developments and the need for communication and religious research in the future.
  • Apocalypse and the Algorithm: Muslim Spiritual Cultivation as Critique

    In this thesis, I advance a Muslim way to think about politics, ground it in an ethics, and then consider what aesthetics accompany that political-ethical orientation. In response to a totalizing and intertwining set of injustices, and the methods of reflexive simulation by which it perpetuates itself (an assemblage I call the Algorithm) I develop apocalyptic ethics rooted in intersubjective networks. First, in “Chapter 1: Experimental Politics” I present a political logic of God-consciousness. Then, in “Chapter 2: Apocalyptic Ethics,” I develop an ethical basis for the subject who develops taqwa, the “I” that forms itself in critical relationship to the Algorithm. This “I” finds its only permanence in the Day of Judgement, in which its body gives account of its deeds to God. In dyadic relationship to the Algorithm, however, the “I” is dynamic and contingent. Finally, in “Chapter 3: Dream Aesthetics,” I develop a psychedelic approach to the changes in consciousness that make subversive politics in the Algorithm possible.

    ICT is tools or medias that facilitate teaching and learning process in the classroom. ICT includes software application, computers, radio, television, telephony, CD ROM, audio or video clips, computer, and internet. Utilizing this technology is not improve students' achievement but also their character, especially language ethic. Students' language ethic has relationship to linguistics aspects. In semantics, the study tells about how polite language used to communicate with other people in the real context. In pragmatics, the study tells about how polite language used to communicate with older and younger people based on the situation. There were some words and expressions can be used and can be not used to communicate with other people. One way to teach semantics and pragmatics was used ICT in the calssroom. Using ICT that input islamic value can develop the students' character indirectly. Hopefully, all of the English Lecturer using ICT as English Teaching Media at Islamic University.

    Skripsi ini menjelaskan mengenai Peran Pengurus dalam Pembinaan Akhlak Remaja Anggota Ikatan Remaja Masjid Jami‟Al Muttaqin di Tanjunganyar Demak. Ikatan Remaja Masjid Jami' Al Muttaqin adalah organisasi yang memiliki fokus dalam bidang keagamaan, keremajaan, dan kemasyarakatan dan dapat berfungsi sebagai wadah belajar dan silaturahmi bagi remaja di desa Tanjunganyar.
 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran pengurus dalam pembinaan akhlak remaja anggota ikatan remaja masjid Jami' Al Muttaqin di Tanjunganyar Demak
 Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan melakukan studi lapangan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua dan sekertaris dari Ikatan Remaja Masjid Jami' Al Muttaqin, anggota dari Ikatan Remaja Masjid Jami' Al Muttaqin . Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan.
 Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Peran Pengurus dalam Pembinaan Akhlak Remaja Anggota Ikatan Remaja Masjid Jami‟Al Muttaqin di Tanjunganyar Demak adalah sebagai berikut: 1)Pengurus IRMas Sebagai Contoh, yaitu IRMas memberi contoh yang dapat diteladani oleh remaja, dengan memberi contoh inilah secara perlahan akan membentuk akhlak yang baik bagi remaja. 2)Pengurus IRMas
 
 Sebagai Motivator, secara rutin IRMas memberikan motivasi kepada anggota, selain berkaitan dengan IRMas, juga berkaitan dengan masalah-masalah keremajaan, pendidikan, juga bagaimana seharusnya seorang Muslim bertingkah laku dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. 3)Pengurus IRMas Sebagai Agen Dakwah, yaitu IRMas mengarahkan untuk mengenali diri mereka sebagai seorang muslim dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman agama, diharapkan para remaja itu nantinya apapun yang dilakukan berdasarkan syariat Islam. 4)Pengurus IRMas Sebagai Wadah Belajar Bersosialisasi, proses interaksi dan komunikasi yang terjadi antara remaja dengan lingkungan sosial akan memberikan pengaruh terhadap kepribadian atau akhlak remaja menjadi lebih baik
  • Nilai-nilai pendidikan agama islam dalam program sekolah siaga kependudukan di SMAN1 Kendal

    Salah satu usaha yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Indonesia dalam merespon fenomena dan isu-isu kependudukan adalah melalui program Sekolah Siaga Kependudukan. Program Sekolah Siaga Kependudukan ini adalah program pendidikan kependudukan dari BKKBN yang bekerja sama dengan pendidikan di Indonesia, karena dunia pendidikan merupakan tempat yang penting untuk melahirkan generasi-generasi yang berkarakter. Program ini masih dipandang sebagai program yang jauh hubungannya dengan pendidikan agama Islam. Padahal program pendidikan kependudukan ini terdapat dalam ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan program Sekolah Siaga Kependudukan di SMAN 1 Kendal dan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Islam pada program Sekolah Siaga Kependudukan di SMAN 1 Kendal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitiannya adalah tim penanggung jawab program Sekolah Siaga Kependudukan, guru PAIBP, dan peserta didik.
 Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program Sekolah Siaga Kependudukan di SMAN 1 Kendal mencakup tiga penerapan yaitu Pojok Kependudukan, Kelas Siaga Kependudukan, dan Duta Kependudukan. Nilai-nilai PAI dalam pelaksanaan Pojok Kependudukan terdapat nilai peduli kependudukan serta terdapat didalamnya nilai kerja sama dan silaturahmi yang terlihat dalam kegiatan-kegiatannya yang menjalin kerja sama dengan berbagai pihak luar dan pihak dalam sekolah. Nilai PAI dalam pelaksanaan Kelas Siaga Kependudukan yaitu menuntut ilmu yang tercermin dalam keaktifan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Kemudian nilai PAI dalam pelaksanaan Duta Kependudukan terdapat tiga nilai diantaranya adalah ikhtiar, tanggung jawab yang melekat pada para finalis serta setelah menjadi duta dan chef. Dalam Duta Kependudukan juga melekat nilai amar makruf nahi mungkar yakni mengajak teman-temannya untuk menjadi generasi yang tanggap kependudukan serta mengatasi isu-isunya

    Das Islamische Recht stellt einen Kernbereich des Studiums Islam-bezogener Fächer, insbesondere der Islamischen Theologie und Islamwissenschaft dar. Dennoch fällt es vielen Studierenden gerade in den ersten Semestern schwer, sich in die neue und oft ungewohnte Materie einzuarbeiten, nicht zuletzt, weil bislang entsprechende Lehrmittel fehlen. Hier setzt das Kompaktwörterbuch Islamischer Rechtsbegriffe an, das als studienbegleitendes wissenschaftliches Hilfsmittel konzipiert wurde. Islamische Rechtsbegriffe werden auf verständliche Weise erklärt und in ihren jeweiligen rechtlichen, religiösen oder historischen Kontext gesetzt. Dabei werden sowohl die sunnitischen als auch die spezifisch schiitischen Fachbegriffe behandelt. Das Kompaktwörterbuch Islamischer Rechtsbegriffe befähigt die Studierenden so zum Verständnis aller historischen oder modernen Texte, die sich mit dem Islamischen Recht beschäftigen, und erleichtert damit auch das Verfassen von Seminar- und Abschlussarbeiten.

    Kajian dalam Tesis ini dilatar belakangi oleh munculnya penyempitan pemahaman terhadap jihad dan adanya berbagai aksi destruktif dan traumatic yang menamakan Jihad. sehingga pengatasnamaan jihad tersebut mencoreng keagungan dan keutamaan ibadah Jihad. Jihad dipandang negatif oleh masyarakat luas tak terkecuali sebagian besar dari pemeluk agama Islam ini. munculnya penyempitan pemahaman terhadap jihad dan adanya berbagai aksi destruktif dan traumatic yang menamakan Jihad. sehingga pengatasnamaan jihad tersebut mencoreng keagungan dan keutamaan ibadah Jihad. Jihad dipandang negatif oleh masyarakat luas tak terkecuali sebagian besar dari pemeluk agama Islam ini. Sehingga penulis melalui tesis ini berharap untuk bisa membuka wawasan kepada masyarakat banyak terutama para mahasiswa atau peneliti lainnya akan keluwesan ibadah Jihad dan memiliki relevansi dalam aktivitas pendidikan. 
 Rumusan masalah dalam penulisan tesis ini adalah (1) Apa saja nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak yang terdapat dalam Jihad perspektif Yusuf al-Qardhawi ? (2) Bagaimana relevansi nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak dalam Jihad perspektif al-Yusuf Qardhawi dalam pendidikan 
 Adapun yang menjadi tujuan adalah adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui sebuah pemahaman konsep jihad yang sebenarnya menurut Islam, seiring dengan kesalahan pemahaman dan perealisasian jihad (2) Untuk mengetahui nilai pendidikan akhlak yang terdapat dalam ibadah jihad (3) Untuk mengetahui relevansi nilai pendidikan akhlak jihad pada dalam pendidikan 
 Harapan Tesis ini adalah menumbuhkan semangat Jihad atau berjuang dalam jihad pendidikan dan meluruskan pandangan pada masyarakat umum mengenai Jihad yang sarat dengan nilai-nilai kebaikan dan memberikan gambaran bahwasanya jihad adalah ibadah yang penuh dengan nilai-nilai akhlak yang perlu untuk diajarkan. 
 Jenis penelitian yang digunakan tergolong dalam katergori penelitian kepustakaan (liberary research). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dari beberapa sumber buku yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan pokok bahasan dengan jalan membaca dan mempelajari. Tekhnik dalam analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah dengan metode deskriptif analisis yaitu suatu pembahasan yang bertujuan membuat gambaran terhadap data-data yang telah tersusun dan terkumpul dengan cara memberi interpretasi terhadap data tersebut. 
 Setelah penulis mengadakan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode di atas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa:(1) nilai-nilai akhlak yang terdapat dalam Jihad yaitu Iman, Ikhlash, ilmu, Ukhuwah, Keadilan, Tepat janji, Musyawarah dan Demokrasi, Toleransi, Munfiqun, Kerja Keras, Taat, dan Peduli lingkungan. 
 Nilai-nilai akhlak dalam jihad yang penulis teliti memiliki banyak kesamaan dengan 18 nilai karakter yang menjadi program pengmbangan karakter pada tujuan pendidikan nasional. Sehingga sangat jauh pernyataan bahwa jihad adalah terorisme. Justru nilai-nilai jihad ini menjadi nilai-nilai karakter yang yang harus ditanamkan dalam diri sanubari para pelaku proses pendidikan. Oleh karenanya sangat memungkinkan untuk menjadikan jihad sebagai ruh dalam pendidikan, terutama bagi sekolah Islam yang dominan mengajarkan ajaran Islam yang sarat dengan karakter-karakter yang membangun pada diri para peserta didik.

    This study aims to explain the reality of the teaching of Islamic education (PAI) through the online system during the coronavirus pandemic that affects ethical values from the point of view of the book of Adab al-'Alim wa al-Muta'allim by KH. M. Hasyim Asy'ari. There are four focuses in this article: (1) the concept of Islamic education (PAI), (2) the problems of PAI learning through an online system, (3) the ethical values ​​of PAI learning from the perspective of the book of Adab al-Alim wa al-Muta'allim and (4) analysis of the ethical values ​​of PAI learning through an online system based on the perspective of the book of Adab al-Alim wa al-Muta'allim. This article is based on library research. In collecting the data, the authors use the method of documentation and recording. To analyze the data, the author uses content and descriptive analysis. In this article, the author argues that according to the book of Adab al-Alim wa al-Muta'allim, online learning cannot meet the ethical standards ​​that should be obtained through face-to-face learning. In order to address this issue, there are some recommendations: (1) at the beginning of the online lesson; the teacher can start by reading the Quran, reciting dhikr, or repeating the memorization of short verses of the Quran, or hadiths, (2) the amount and the pace of the lesson must be adjusted, (3) If it is necessary, additional learning can be provided, by a home visit with the application of strict health protocols of Covid-19.

For this reason, this article aims to look at the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in overcoming the difficulties of students in al-Qur'an literacy at the junior high school level. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data obtained from scientific journal literature, books, and interviews with a PAI teacher and several students of SMPN Satap-1 Kamipang. The data collection technique was carried out by purposive sampling. The results of the study found that the role of PAI teachers was to overcome students' difficulties in al-Qur'an literacy at SMPN Satap-1 Kamipang. Among them are, motivators (providing enthusiasm and motivation), Counselors (providing understanding to students), Observatory (knowing students' abilities in al-Qur'an literacy), facilitators (providing direct guidance), informers (providing information and directives), and evaluator (give an assessment).

    This study aimed to (1) improving language development of children through visual audio media animation film, (2) improving moral development of children through visual audio animation film. Method that used by researcher is classroom action research in Group B TK Ar-Rahman Desa Cilengkrang Kecamatan Wedo Kabupaten Sumedang 2017/2018 with 15 subject. Research design that used is Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. Data is collected and than analized, reflect, by used analysis technic data qualitative and quantitative. Language development of children is increasingly, average of score all children for first condition up to 1,9 (40%), at the cycle I of ability is increasingly up to 2,6 (66,7%), at the cycle II of ability is increasingly up to 3,1 (86,7%). Moral development of children for the first condition had score average up to 2,3 (53,3%), at the cycle I up to 2,5 (73,3%), at the cycle II had an average score of all children up to 2,8 (86,7%). Conclusion of this research can showed about visual audio media animation film can increase language development and moral of children.

    Discipline is an action that shows orderly behavior and is compliant with a rule or norm. Compliance or obedience to the rule system in life, will not feel heavy if done consciously. The attitude of the discipline becomes light if it is carried out together. Discipline Akhlak become an individual's hopes and dreams. No exception is the expectations of teachers to students, parents to children, leaders to employee. This study uses field research with descriptive-qualitative data types. The results of this study indicate that the habitual discipline in Sanggar Anak Alam School (SALAM) has been going well. There are supporting factors and there are inhibiting factors in the discipline of moral discipline in the Sanggar Anak Alam School (SALAM)

    Latar belakang skripsi ini merupakan penelitian yang diangkat dari meningkatnya jumlah kecelakaan lalu lintas di Indonesia. kelalaian pengemudi kendaraan bermotor merupakan penyebab salah satu kecelakaan lalu lintas. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan kecelakaan lalu lintas, seperti faktor manusia, faktor jalan, faktor kendaraan, dan faktor alam. Kelalaian yang disebabkan pada kecelakaan lalu lintas tidak bisa diprediksi namun akibatnya banyak pihak dirugikan seperti luka berat. Apabila pelanggaran hukum terjadi maka pelaku akan menerima konsekuensinya berupa sanksi yang diatur dalam Undang-Undang No. 22 Tahun 2009 Pasal 310 Ayat (3).
 
 Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana sanksi tindak pidana kealpaan pengemudi kendaraan bermotor yang menyebabkan luka berat menurut Undang-Undang No. 22 Tahun 2009 Pasal 310 Ayat (3), untuk mengetahui bagaimana sanksi tindak pidana kealpaan pengemudi kendaraan bermotor yang menyebabkan luka berat menurut hukum pidana Islam, dan bagaimana relevansi antara hukum pidana Islam dan Undang-Undang No. 22 Tahun 2009 Pasal 310 Ayat (3) tentang sanksi tindak pidana kealpaan pengemudi kendaraan bermotor yang menyebabkan luka berat.
 
 Hukuman (‘uqubah) adalah balasan terhadap seseorang atas perbuatan yang telah melanggar ketentuan syara’. Tujuan dari pemberian hukuman bagi pelaku suatu jarimah yaitu sebagai pencegahan, perbaikan, dan pengajaran. Tindak pidana kealpaan/ kelalaian lalu lintas dapat dikenakan Undang-Undang No. 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan. Diyat merupakan hukuman pokok untuk untuk tindak pidana pelukaan.
 
 Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif. Penulisan ini juga menggunakan sumber data primer, sekunder, dan tersier. Jenis data penelitian ini menggunakan data kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi kepustakaan dengan melakukan penelitian terhadap berbagai sumber bacaan, buku-buku, tafsir hadis, berbagai literatur dan juga berbagai peraturan perundang-undangan yang berkaitan dengan penelitian
 Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sanksi bagi pelaku tindak pidana kealpaan pengemudi kendaraan bemotor yang menyebabkan luka berat diatur dalam Undang-Undang No. 22 Tahun 2009 Pasal 310 ayat (3) yaitu berupa pidana penjara paling lama 5 tahun dan denda paling banyak Rp. 10.000.000,00 (sepuluh juta rupiah). Adapun sanksi bagi pelaku tindak pidana kealpaan pengemudi kendaraan bermotor dalam hukum pidana Islam berupa diyat. Diyat yang dibayarkan tergantung pada jenis anggota badan yang dilukai. Kemudian terdapat tiga aspek nilai yang menjadi relasi antara sanksi hukum positif dan hukum pidana Islam yaitu nilai ilahiyah, nilai perbaikan, dan menjaga stabilitas dalam masyarakat.

His thoughts on Islamic education are related to the goals of Islamic education, Islamic education curriculum, the institutions of Islamic education, methods of learning in Islamic education, as well as moral and ethical of educators. Mahmud Yunus's point of view about Islamic education, although the thought has existed for a long time but it still exists and is relevant in today's time, for the advancement and development of the Islamic educational institutions of the archipelago.
  • The Nature of Regret as Emotion of Moral Self-Control

    Emotions are human attributes that are directly related to the epistemic, ethical, and aesthetic aspects of human beings. While man builds a meaningful, valuable, and beautiful life, gets motivation from emotions along with the mind. Emotions, with their multifunctional aspect, are means for determining, activating, directing, influencing, transforming, restraining, and sometimes manipulating human intentions, attitudes, and actions. For this reason, any research that treats human actions, especially morality, has to deal with emotions. The way to know the human being is to understand his emotions in his practical life. Therefore, in the gap between the stability of the theoretical and the dynamism of life, emotions become the subject of philosophical research. It is not easy to express the dynamic aspect and unbounded nature of emotion with-in the limits of language. However, for human beings, emotions are effective in their decision-making pro-cesses, intentions, orientations, and choices, in which they understand themselves, the universe, nature, matter, individuals, societies, goodness, evil, valuable and non-valued things, cope with facts and events, manage their practical life, stands out as dynamic, functional and cognitive attributes inherent in all these processes. Man experiences a wide variety of emotional states in his daily life. Thus, he has constantly changed moods with these emotional states he experiences. These experiences can be caused by external factors as well as by the influence of the internal dynamics of the human being. In terms of his social life, man has a dynamic moral life that gives emotional reactions and receives emotional effects. In this context, emotions enable man to establish a balance between himself and the self of the society in which he lives and determine his basic orientations. Emotions are motivating faculties that motivate a man to act and guide his imaginations, and evaluations of the past, present, and future. Regret is an emotion of moral self-control that addresses the self and internally organizes and constructs its morality. This emotion plays a central role, especially in the field of moral values, with its nature that affects man both in individual and social life. Re-gret, in its simplest form, appears in the form of a bitter feeling that includes the negative judgment of man's past action or inaction and is expressed with the expression of a wish. The emotion of regret is formed by the effect of internal influences in humans. Like most moral emotions, regret includes both a phenomenological sense and a cognitive judgment. Regret which is a psychologically and conceptually com-plex emotion, reveals a series of emotions such as sadness, disappointment, longing, nostalgia, and some-times the relief of not regretting something. Regret can also manifest itself as a strong, motivating sadness and a passionate complaint that things are not going as planned. It is an experience of pain, often retrospec-tive, that shapes our present and future. Regret is an emotion that arises with awareness, usually expressing disapproval of what the person did, wishing it to be different, upset, ashamed, or guilty. Regret is part of human self-control, which encourages man to learn from past and present mistakes and to correct future behavior. This emotion is a corrective and healing sense of moral self-control that arises as a result of one's internal accounting for one's actions. Regret is a necessary consequence of man's moral nature. This emo-tion stems from the fact that he is a being that can choose, that is, his moral freedom. For regret to occur, the moral action must have taken place as a result of a choice to be made among at least two alternatives. Therefore, the prerequisite for repentance is freedom. The reciprocal roles of reason and emotion on our thoughts and actions are particularly evident in the phenomenon of regret. For that reason, regret, whether in the practical or theoretical field, is an emotion related not only to the emotional side of human but also to the cognitive side. The fact that regret is a state of sadness that occurs when a person realizes his mistake on a phenomenon that has been experienced in the past or whose effect continues today, shows that it is an emotion of evaluation. Since the activating aspect of the emotions will be backward dysfunctional in regret, this incentive aspect manifests itself in the direction of preventing the repetition of the regretful situation in the future. Thus, a sad situation in the past will pave the way for a moral evolution from negative to posi-tive, from destructive to constructive. In this article, the nature, value, and functionality of the regret will be analyzed and interpreted from a philosophical point of view, taking into account the principles of emotion ethics, and its conceptual and theoretical framework.
