Abstract

The scale and pace of Asia’s transformation is unprecedented and the implications for Australia are profound. This December 2011 issues paper and the 246 submissions received by March 2012 will inform the Gillard Government's forthcoming white paper to consider the likely economic and strategic changes in the region and what more can be done to position Australia for the Asian Century.
