Abstract二十世纪下半叶众多英译圣经中，《新国际版圣经》脱颖而出成为美国销售量第一的圣经译本。此译作不仅超越以往备受推崇的《英王钦定版圣经》广受大众欢迎，更成为基督教界不同教派、教会与机构在布道和刊物中引用的圣经版本。在基督教界获得普遍认同、广泛流传的《新国际版圣经》因此成为经典圣经译本。 本文将探讨研究《新国际版圣经》经典化的形成。本文首先概述经典的定义、形成以及经典与翻译的关联。其次，通过翻译理念、原始文本的择取、翻译程序、其圣经译本的影响、译者的择取以及勒菲弗尔提出的赞助人概念等角度探讨《新国际版圣经》经典化的形成。 Among the myriad of English bible translations that were published in the late twentieth century, the New International Version emerged as the best-selling bible version in America. Surpassing the venerated King James Version, the New International Version gained mainstream popularity and received recognition in Christian circles. Many Christian denominations, churches and organisations adopted the New International Version as the bible of choice for pulpit preaching and quoting scriptures in publications. The widespread endorsement of this bible translation led to the canonisation of the New International Version. This thesis seeks to address the topic of canon formation of translated texts through a study of the canonisation of the New International Version. This paper will first provide a summary on the definitions of canons, its formation and its relation to translation. Next, with reference to Lefevere's concept of patronage and other factors including the engagement of translators, selection of source language texts, translation philosophies, translation procedures and the influence of the translation, this paper will discuss how these elements propelled the canonisation of the New International Version.
