En étudiant l’histoire des femmes à travers le prisme d’une pratique sportive, en l’occurrence la natation, j’ai souhaité faire émerger la visibilité des femmes dans ce sport, donner un passé aux femmes, mais aussi ne pas négliger les rapports sociaux de sexes ainsi que la construction culturelle de la différence des sexes.
