Abstract
This thesis explores Heloise of the Paraclete’s writings on the topic of ‘the body’, from the perspective of feminist paradigms, to illustrate that her distinctively “incarnational form of language” not only holds theological significance for our day but also marks her out as a key figure within Middle Ages spirituality.
