Abstract
In this research, we present the results obtained through an educational intervention that aimed to describe the implications in teaching and learning process for teachers and students, through the use of technology-mediated tests as an instrument to assess competencies of high cognitive level in a basic Management Accounting course. We developed an exploratory study using mixed methods for the analysis of survey data, observation, interviews and test. The study categories used in this research were: the use of technology to solve problems, technology risks and performance at work using technology, which were validated by factors analysis. Mediated technology test favor skills development aimed at solving problems and decision making, in contrast with the machining and replication procedures. However, it is necessary to redefine the relationship of control assessment for skills development at the possibilities that technology provides for the design of tests.
Este trabajo de investigación presenta los resultados obtenidos a través de una intervención educativa, cuyo objetivo fue describir las implicaciones en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje para profesores y alumnos, al utilizar exámenes mediados por tecnología para evaluar competencias de alto nivel cognitivo en un curso básico de contabilidad. Se llevó a cabo un estudio exploratorio con métodos mixtos para el análisis de datos obtenidos mediante encuestas, observación, entrevistas y exámenes. Las categorías de estudio fueron: uso de la tecnología para resolver problemas, riesgos de la tecnología y rendimiento en el trabajo al valerse de la tecnología. Los resultados sugieren que los exámenes mediados por tecnología favorecen el desarrollo de competencias orientadas a la resolución de problemas y la toma de decisiones, en contraste con la mecanización y réplica de procedimientos. Sin embargo, se deben considerar los riesgos que trae consigo el uso de estas herramientas de evaluación.

Export search results
