dc.description.abstract• Churches were open for “prayer and meditation” yesterday, although no services were held. • Early closing hour for saloons and soda fountains went into effect this past Saturday. • Street car passengers “taking kindly” to order that only 65 passengers can ride on double truck streetcars and only 55 passengers can ride on the single truck streetcars. • Many streetcar operators are ill and, as a result, service is limited and shortened. • There were eleven deaths and 35 new cases at the City Hospital within the past twenty four hours. • Names of the eleven who recently died at the City Hospital are listed.
