Returned from New England. Wheelock/Kirkland conflict resolved. Stopped at Johnson Hall on return, left answer to questions of Sir John Johnson (see #20e). Thinks that Johnson's questions are unjustified. Apprehensive of Crosby as a missionary, as he does not speak the Indian language.Letter writer: Samuel Kirkland, Letter recipient: Andrew Elliot
