Islam et valeurs: l'expérience italienne

Abstract

This article analyzes the infuence of "values discourse" on the legal status of Muslims in Italy. In particular, we will focus on how the Italian nation-state model and the important traditional role attributed to the right to religious freedom interact with the return of national identity values into the public sphere.
