Erosion is a problem which arises in most of the Sonora soils and is a risk for future agricultural, livestock and forest production. The problem of livestock soil erosion in Sonora, which is the state's most widespread degradation process, is analyzed in this work. Initially, it offers a summary of the signs and extent of the land degradation processes in Sonora. Subsequently, the productive activities which give rise to these processes, as well as their effects on the environment, are examined.Date
