符合SCORM標準之學習元件及技術工具設計---子計畫V：符合SCORM標準的分散式LMS學習元件共享平台與目錄服務之設計(I)

Abstract

[[abstract]]E-learning在最近幾年成為各界注意的焦點，無論在個人、學界與業界，它都扮演重要的推手角色。儘管如此，E-learning在之前缺乏教材及學習管理平台的標準，以至於各E-learning投入者百家爭鳴，固然為E-learning注入欣欣向榮的動力，但同時也喪失了教材的重覆使用性。SCORM即為一開發中的E-learning標準，希望在這個標準之下，教材及平台都能達到Aharable的理想。另一方面，EJB是Java2企業版的核心，透過EJB，開發人員得以使用時下最流行的三層式架構，去建立一個具模範的，可靠的，可攜帶的，以及安全性的分散式物件系統。在本研究中，我們以EJB技術建立一LMS系統，這雖然只是個起步，卻可以看出以EJB來實作LMS，不僅是可行的，也是高效能的。

[[abstract]]E-learning has received a lot of attentions in recent years. It plays the key-enabling role in knowledge management for individual, schools, and enterprises. Nevertheless, the lack of standard in contents and learning management systems (LMSs) makes the reusability and interoperability of learning resources infeasible. The emergence of the SCORM [1] specification has shed a light toward standardization of e-learning. On the other hand, EJB (Enterprise Java Bean) programming is the core of Java 2 Enterprise Edition. Through EJB, developers can use three-layers framework which is the mainstream of general system to build a scalable, reliable, portable, secure and distributed-object system. In this study, we try to propose a SCORM-compliant LMS on EJB on JBoss. This LMS system is at its initial stage but shows LMS's specification is suitable to implement by EJB.
